Los Angeles and Angel Jibreel (AS)

Allah Almighty has made this earth a home for all humans. The children of Prophet Adam (AS) and Hawwa (AS) now number around eight billion worldwide. The city of Los Angeles in the United States has a population of over 3.8 million. Currently, this city is facing a massive wildfire.

A few days before the fire began, a Hollywood event took place where people credited their success to others, but no one thanked God. It was then declared that Los Angeles is a "godless city," and people celebrated this idea. However, two days later, the wildfire engulfed the city. People were forced to flee, leaving behind their luxurious homes and cars to save their lives.

The name Los Angeles means "City of Angels" and is believed to refer to Angel Jibreel (AS). Angel Jibreel is the messenger of Allah who brought divine revelations to the prophets. The Quran describes him as "one with great power" and "of high rank." All prophets preached the oneness of Allah, but this message has been forgotten by many today.

Los Angeles is home to people of different faiths. The city has 120 churches, 60 mosques, 40 synagogues, 10 Hindu temples, and 3 Sikh gurdwaras. One mosque, known as "Dar-ul-Hikmah" or the White Mosque, witnessed a miracle. When the fire reached the area, Imam Abdul Malik prayed earnestly to Allah. Astonishingly, the fire stopped at a distance from the mosque, and the community was saved. After this event, several people, including a woman named Eden and a firefighter named Jack, embraced Islam.

This is a time to turn back to Allah. This trial serves as a reminder to avoid sins, injustice, and immorality, and to uphold the oneness of Allah. We pray that Allah protects the people of Los Angeles from this calamity and grants peace and safety to all.
